TDY to Nellis

I got to go on a TDY to Vegas for 10 days. Not much happened but a lot of missions and little sleep. here's me in a tank

HAIL IN TUCSON

Well it happened!! It hailed for about 30 min. to a full hour. These were the biggest i found, about pea size.

Nattie's new hobby

so we all know how much Nattie enjoys her sleep right? Try waking her up when she's cuddled in between the dogs!!!! it's literally impossible!!! but I have to admit, whenever they cuddle with me, the last thing i want to do is get up. the above picture has Luke under Nattie's arm and Jack is on her leg.

WHAT!? a new puppy!?

I know, I know.... we were ridiculous with 1 cute puppy, imagine how bad we are with 2 cute puppies. We were gonna wait til we moved into the house to get the second one but Jack hated being alone and had really bad anxiety whenever we left. so Nattie had some creative search methods on craiglist and low and behold.... (keep reading below)

we picked up Luke from a guy that was moving and couldn't take him. He came with all his shots and already fixed. Best part was.....$75!!!!!!! As you can see, they're as cute could be and has turned out to be an awesome addition. he currently is sick but we caught it early enough so we're expecting him to come out alright. a visit from Germany

Everyone has probably heard me talk about my German buddy Lennart. few of you may have known that he actually flew down here just to see me and nattie the last time he was in America. He was an escort for the exchange program that brought him here the first time so he got a free ticket to America. He was in AZ for about 5 days and couldn't believe how dead and brown it was when he flew over it lol we had a great time taking him out on the town and up to Phoenix to stay with our buddy Will and his family. Thanks for comin out man. it was awesome to see you and it meant a lot to us. miss you and can't wait til we can come visit you!

here's Jack and I trying to get out of the summer heat. He didn't know what to do about the water so I had a floating pad that he thought he could walk on. He sank instantly and that's how I tricked him into swimming for the first time. :)

Long time no blog!

We had some credit on Southwest airlines we had to use by august so I decided to take Natalie to Monterey, CA where I was stationed for a year and a half. We stayed with my best friends and second family, the Hanlines. It was SOOOO good to see them again and the have Nattie meet some of the people have have been in my life the past few years. it was an awesome trip it's hard to say who enjoyed it the most. The Hanlines enjoyed having us, we loved staying with them, and we all had fun together. Thank you again Hanlines and we love and miss you sooo very very much. GO JAZZ! ;)

BUYIN' A HOUSE

ALOHA

Hawaii was awesome! minus the first day. the first day we got there we drove around the island in a soft top jeep, in the rain and we couldn't find the place we had to check in for our cabins. We ended up staying the night at my friend Joe's place and had to go check in the next morning. It was a good night though and we made the most of it and had a great time. I was SOOO excited to take Nattie and show her around. enjoy some of the pictures.

So I had a class on chemical warfare and had to be in all my chemical defense gear. I was lucky enough to bring it home to teach Nattie how to put it on :) enjoy

We saw this little guy literally at the bottom of our steps as we were taking the trash out one night. Now you have to understand.... this is winter! what comes out in the summertime, we don't wanna know!

what we've done

we've been busy getting around the new town and seeing what it has to offer. A lot of the times we've forgotton our camera, like when we went to the air and space museum, when we went to the resort, out to dinner with Jesse and Katie. But we do get out of the house and get away from Jack, believe it or not. The comedian Jeff Dunham came to town a while ago. He's the guy with the puppets from comedy central. I admit I can't spell his occupation and I challenge all of you to try and spell it. I don't even know if they have it in predictive text.

Here was Natalie Valentines gift to me :) we went to Biosphere 2. It was awesome and yes, it's exactly like biodome. Some people lived in it for 2 years. Minor complications but overall very informative. It had everything from a rain forest to a desert and even and ocean. the top left picture is us in front of it. top right is in the view of the ocean exhibit, bottom left is Nattie in front of the ocean and the video is of part of the orchard they had to get fruits from when they lived there.

updates on Jack

Our friend Ashley bought a little girl puppy Beagle named "Tank" they love to play and wrestle but even they need to take time outs and hydrate.

He's a hit with our friends. He's a star when we go to our friends house and he loves the HUGE back yard he gets to play in. He got everyones rib bones on superbowl sunday

He had his first beer the other day as he licked mine when I wasn't looking. It went really well with the rib bones everyone gave him.

Our little guy is adorable and is the closet we have to a kid so deal with it :p He graduated his first puppy class and is awesome! he's mastered every trick that has been thrown at him so we're happy we didn't get a stupid dog.
